About Me

I'm Mae Parkinson, founder of Hope Support Services. I'm 17 years old and Hope Support Services is a service partnered with the NDIS. My service provides support work for children and adults who are diagnosed with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities. I have wide experience having grown up with my brother who diagnosed with level three autism and who is profoundly deaf. Growing up with my brother has taught me patience, compassion, how to communicate with children and adults verbally and non-verbally, and how to de-escalate stressful situations. These are few of many skills I have developed through the many years of assisting with my brothers care. I have a drivers license and completed a defensive driving course with a new car.
